THE MORMON COLONIES IN MEXICO
Beginning in approximately 1875 to 1900 Mormon pioneers had founded a string of settlements in Chihuahua and Sonora extending from Colonia Diaz, just forty miles south of the United States border, to Chuichupa, 175 miles from the same line. Below are the links to specific information regarding the Mormon colonization effort and each of their colonies in Mexico.
