Phoebe Brown was born on April 23, 1906 in the Mormon Colony of Morelos in the Mexican State of Sonora to Orson Pratt Brown and Martha Diana Romney Brown.

Phoebe married (1) Jack Chido on May 31, 1922. Their son, Douglas Chido was born April 26, 1930, he died, still a child, on August 5, 1939. They divorced.

Phoebe married (2) Donald Gardner June 12, 1932. Donald was born November 26, 1903 in Colonia Morelos, Sonora, Mexico. They had one child, Jeanne Gardner, born ?, married Robert Stuart Frederiksen, when?. Robert was born January 22, 1922; died in 1987, they had five children.

Phoebe Brown Chido Gardner died on March 25, 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
