Silvestre "Orson" Gustavo Brown passed away on Monday February 11, 2008 at 8:30 PM in the Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico hospital as a result of a fall which cracked his skull and then he contracted pneumonia. His funeral will be on Wednesday February 13, 2008 at Cholla Bay/Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico.
Gustavo is the father of twelve children and grandfather to many. He was a successful farmer, rancher, property owner, and developer of many of the commercial buildings in Puerto Peñasco and Rocky Point in Sonora, Mexico.
Gustavo was the oldest living son of Orson Pratt Brown and long-time leader in the OPB Family Organization.

Lorna Raty Brown passed away with family at her side in her home on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 11:00 a.m. from cancer at the age of 51. Lorna was born Dec. 25, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas Laine and Jennie Clavell Brown Raty. She married James Wilde Brown II on Nov. 5, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Lion House. Lorna and James are the proud parents of Mathew William (13), Ian Daniel (10), and McKay Thomas Brown (7). |

Monday, February 20, 2006, EMMA GLORIA TARIN BROWN, 80, born April 30, 1925 in Columbus, Luna, New Mexico, daughter of Juan Tarin and Maria Sanchez. Emma is mother of Mary Alyce Brown Taylor, Ruth Amanda Brown Saenz, Silvestre Gustavo Brown Jr., David Brown, Hector Daniel Brown, and Aaron Benjamin Brown. She passed away after experiencing an anuerysm while in Tucson, Pima, Arizona. Emma was Silvestre Gustavo Brown's first wife for thirty-five years (1948-1983).

Sister of Barbara Brown Silver, Colleen Brown Burt, and James Wilde Brown.

| Inez Irene Garcia Brown , 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006. She was born in Tucson on January 21, 1934 and moved to Phoenix in 1967. Irene worked as a Certified Professional Secretary and as a Court Interpreter. She loved sewing, quilting, and knitting. Irene will be remembered for her loving, encouraging, and spiritual nature. She leaves behind her husband, Gordon; 2 sons, Richard and Martin; six stepchildren, Mark, Debbie, Dewey, Miles, Lolly, and Beau; 11 grandchildren; brother, Manuel C. Garcia; many cousins, nieces, nephews; and more friends than one could name. Memorial services will be held at Self Realization Fellowship, 6111 N Central Avenue in Phoenix, on Sunday, October 22, at 1 PM. It is the family's wish that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Neptune Society. |

"After a courageous fight against cancer over the last year, Hector Daniel Brown passed away on May 4, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Shawn, and daughters Jessie, 13 and Kayla, 9 who reside in Bonita, as well as his son Danny Jr., 27, residing in Mexico. Born October 10, 1959 in Chihuahua, Mexico, and known to friends and family as 'Danny', he became an accomplished real estate developer responsible for many fine homes and planned communities in the Puerto Penasco and Cholla Bay region, as well as his estate in Bonita. Danny was a loving husband, devoted Dad and loyal friend to many, who with every small gesture, touched the lives of everyone he met. Always there to help when needed, Danny showed his special devotion to his children by volunteering at school activities, chauffeuring the children to events, with his great sense of humor delighting all. Pursuing his deep love of the ocean, fishing and water sports, his final desire was to be scattered over the sea that brought him so much joy. He is also survived by his father, Silvestre Gustavo Brown, mother Emma Gloria Tarin Brown, brothers; Gus, David, Benji, Gustavo, and sisters; Mary-Alice, Ruth, Liz, Jackie, Linda, Lucy and Nubia."
