"Vincit Pepercit"

This is not the full coat of arms. Will replace when I find the right one.

"Vincit Pepercit" is Latin. It is the Draper family motto and it is part of their English family crest, the translation of the phrase from latin to English is "He Conquers all, He vanquishes all")

Draper is a name that was formed by the Anglo-Saxon society of Old Britain. The name was determined by an early member of the family who worked as a maker or seller of woolen cloth. The surname Draper is derived from the Old French word "drapier" and the Anglo-French word "draper", which both have the same meaning. The word was first recorded in Old English as early as 1376 in Lancashire, where a family seat was held from ancient times.

Some of the first American settlers of this family or some of its variants were: Henry Draper who settled in Virginia in 1621, the year after the Mayflower landed. Many of the John Draper family were banished to the Barbados in 1654.

Spelling variations of this family name include: Draper, Drapere, Draiper, Draeper, Drapar, Drapir, Drayper, Dreaper, Dreypar, Drapper, Drapier, Drabber, Drapber, Drabper, Drappar, and many more.
